Meru E-Sign & Electronic Communications Consent

Consent Agreement

Definitions of “we,” “us,” and “our” In this Consent, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to R3mit Solutions Inc. (Meru) and our authorized service providers acting on our behalf.

1. Purpose of this Consent

At Meru, all interactions occur in a fully digital environment. By accepting this consent, you authorize R3mit Solutions Inc. (“Meru”) to send you information, notices, and documents electronically, and to use electronic signatures for agreements and transactions. Your approval carries the same legal effect as a handwritten signature and validates all agreements executed through our digital platforms. If you choose not to grant this consent, certain features such as account activation, contract signing, or business integrations may not be available.

2. Scope of Consent

This consent applies to all communications and documents related to your relationship with Meru, including:

  • Contracts, policy updates, fees, and service terms.
  • Transactional, compliance, and security communications.
  • Notices regarding account setup, use, or closure.
  • Documents or agreements signed through the app, dashboard, or business integrations.

It also applies to authorized administrators or representatives of companies or partners using Meru for business purposes.

3. Communication Channels

Official communications from Meru may be delivered through:

  • The email address associated with your account.
  • In-app or dashboard notifications.
  • Electronic documents (PDF or equivalent formats).
  • Push or SMS messages with summaries or secure links.

A communication is considered delivered once it has been issued through any of these channels.

4. Paper Copies and Withdrawal

You may download or print any document directly from your browser or app. If you prefer to receive a paper copy or wish to withdraw your consent, contact us at support@getmeru.com. This request is free of charge but may limit access to certain services that rely on electronic communications or e-signatures. Withdrawal will not affect the validity of any document signed before that date.

5. Hardware and Software Requirements

To access, review, and retain electronic communications from Meru, you must have reliable access to the Internet and the necessary hardware and software capabilities described below. By providing your consent, you acknowledge that you meet these minimum system requirements and that you are able to receive, open, and store electronic documents. You will need:

  • A computer, tablet, or smartphone capable of connecting to the Internet through a secure connection.
  • A modern web browser that supports 128-bit encryption and standard HTML5 functionality (we recommend the latest version of Chrome®, Safari®, Firefox®, or Microsoft Edge®).
  • An active email account and the ability to receive and access messages sent to the email address associated with your Meru account.
  • Software capable of opening and saving PDF documents (such as Adobe® Acrobat Reader® or any equivalent program).
  • Adequate storage capacity to download or retain records for your personal files.

If your hardware or software setup changes in a way that could impact your ability to receive or store documents electronically, it is your responsibility to ensure that your system continues to meet these requirements. Meru is not responsible for any failure to access or retain records due to outdated or unsupported devices or software. By accepting this consent, you confirm that you have the necessary technical means to receive and store electronic communications.

6. Updates

Meru may update this consent due to legal, regulatory, or operational changes. We will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of Meru’s services after notice means you accept the revised version.

7. Legal Validity

This consent complies with the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN Act) and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA). Your acceptance constitutes a valid and binding electronic signature with the same legal effect as signing on paper.
